More than 125 comments were posted in response to the story on The Journal's Web site and the story of Junior the black lab was retold on television and radio and on newspaper Web sites around the country. Some readers have supported the Hetzers and expressed sympathy to the family while others criticized them for allowing Junior to escape in the first place and for not having a dog license or up-to-date vaccinations. FLINT (WJRT) -- (05/06/08)--Call it a proactive approach to crime solving. A Flint homeowner installed his own surveillance camera outside on his home.
He has already caught a crime on tape, but not on his property.
The crime happened across the street at his neighbor's house. Now police have the tape and are looking for the two men seen on it.
Rarely is something like a home invasion captured on camera. But on Flint's west side, nearly three weeks ago, one was.
